Meridian, ID - The Board of Directors of the Community Planning Association of Southwest Idaho (COMPASS) identified its legislative priorities at its monthly Board meeting on Monday, December 20.

Meridian, ID – The Community Planning Association of Southwest Idaho (COMPASS) will present seven Leadership in Motion awards on Monday, December 20, 2010, at its annual holiday Board luncheon at the Nampa Civic Center. Awards will be presented at approximately 1:00 pm; immediately prior to a COMPASS Board meeting at 1:30 pm.

Meridian, ID – The Board of Directors of the Community Planning Association of Southwest Idaho (COMPASS) unanimously approved Communities in Motion as the regional long-range transportation plan for Ada and Canyon Counties at its September 20, 2010, Board meeting.

Meridian, ID – The Community Planning Association of Southwest Idaho (COMPASS) has opened nominations for the 2010 Leadership in Motion awards. Nominations may be made online at www.compassidaho.org/comm/lim-awards.htm and must be received by September 17, 2010.

Meridian, ID – The Board of Directors of the Community Planning Association of Southwest Idaho (COMPASS) weighed in on Monday on the future of the proposed Three Cities River Crossing road project. The Board voted to recommend a “no build” option at its July 19, 2010, meeting.

Meridian, ID – The Board of Directors of the Community Planning Association of Southwest Idaho (COMPASS) heard from two guest speakers at its monthly Board meeting on June 21, 2010. Both speakers shared critical information with the Board concerning transportation and planning issues in the Treasure Valley.

News Release: The Community Planning Association of Southwest Idaho (COMPASS) will hold three open houses to receive comment on the update of the Treasure Valley’s regional long-range transportation plan, Communities in Motion. The current plan, adopted in August 2006, must be updated every four years, so an updated version must be adopted no later than August 2010. Link to additional information.

Meridian, ID – The Board of Directors of the Community Planning Association of Southwest Idaho (COMPASS) approved a recommended transportation system for inclusion in the 2010 update of Communities in Motion at the Board’s January meeting. Communities in Motion is the regional long-range transportation plan for Ada and Canyon Counties.
