People & Structure - Public Participation Committee

The Public Participation Committee (PPC) advises and assists COMPASS staff on methods to encourage public involvement. The PPC will consider the needs of residents across all modes of transportation to ensure a community-supported transportation planning process. Some PPC members serve as a community liaison to COMPASS technical committees. For more information contact: Amy Luft, 855-2558, ext 231.

April 7, 2009 Powerpoint presentation

Charles Trainor presented a PowerPoint show to PPC members on April 7, 2009. This show will be used to inform groups such as service clubs, neighborhood associations, and others about the update to Communities in Motion (CIM). The show is intended to explain what COMPASS is, describe at a high level the development and key features of CIM, and note some of the major aspects of the update. It is not intended to get responses from these groups as to what their members want done.

PPC members, please download either the PowerPoint original (ppt) or Adobe Acrobat version (pdf) to your computer and make comments. I would appreciate your comments by April 17, 2009.
