Planning Excellence and Collaboration ensures cooperation between member agencies and other jurisdictions so that each can share knowledge about comprehensive plans, ordinances, land use regulations, regional studies, conferences, and resources. As a regional agency with members from a variety of local governments, COMPASS encourages meaningful dialogue and supports cooperative, comprehensive, and continuing planning. The agency brings together the people and technical resources to help inform the process.
