Field System Monitoring and Diagnostics Functional Area
Description
'Field System Monitoring and Diagnostics' includes background self–tests, diagnostics, watchdog timers, and other hardware and software that monitors the operating condition of field equipment. The status of the equipment and diagnostic information is provided to local maintenance personnel and the operating center.
