Request for Proposal – Coordinated Regional Waterway-Pathway Plan
COMPASS seeks qualified consultant to develop a coordinated regional waterway-pathway plan. The current regional pathway network that spans the two-county region has potential for creating more connections along various waterway systems, including irrigation canals and drains, riparian corridors, etc.
Existing pathways along waterways (e.g., the Boise River Greenbelt and portions of the Ridenbaugh Canal) are well-used and provide Treasure Valley residents with regional connections that are separated from roadway facilities. However, they are often incomplete or fragmented due to a lack of agency coordination, standard policies, and relationships with key stakeholders, such as the irrigation districts.
COMPASS seeks to prioritize the integration and expansion of waterway pathways to ensure a seamless, accessible, and sustainable transportation network that meets the needs of a growing population and fosters a higher quality of life for all residents.
The Request for Proposal (RFP) includes the project description, scope of services and submittal instructions. Appendix A, Sample Agreement is provided here as a separate document. Responses are due by 5:00 pm MDT on Wednesday June 18, 2025. No late submissions will be accepted. Please see RFP document for complete details. Questions may be submitted via email until June 11, 2025.
