Performance Measure Reporting
Every two years, COMPASS collects and evaluates local data to assess the region’s progress toward achieving Communities in Motion (CIM) goals and summarizes that information in Change in Motion reports.
In an effort to make the most current data more accessible, COMPASS began a series of social media posts based on the COMPASS performance measures and data outlined in the 2016 Change in Motion report. The social media series consists of weekly posts that visually demonstrate progress toward CIM goals in an easy-to-understand format. Infographics and photos are used to highlight performance measure data, such as the number of auto and bicycle crashes, acres of irrigated farmland, new residential units, and more. Learn more about CIM goals and performance measures from the resources below:
- CIM 2040 goals, objectives, and tasks
- CIM 2040 performance measures and targets

- Assessing Performance of the Transportation System (Chapter 10 of CIM 2040)
Follow COMPASS on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to see the infographics as they are posted and keep up with other COMPASS information in real-time. Be sure to check the COMPASS Executive Director's blog for quarterly blog posts that provide a more in-depth discussion on the performance measure data in the social media series.
