Air Quality Conformity Demonstrations
When COMPASS develops or updates the regional long-range transportation plan (Communities in Motion) or the Regional Transportation Improvement Program (TIP), it is required to demonstrate that the transportation projects funded via these plans will not degrade air quality in the Treasure Valley. This is referred to as an “air quality conformity demonstration.” Learn more.

Air Quality Conformity Demonstration for Communities in Motion 2050
This document contains the estimated air quality impacts associated with Communities in Motion 2050. It also contains an emissions budget test for the purposes of demonstrating air quality conformity as per federal requirements. The estimated impacts demonstrate that the projects contained in Communities in Motion 2050 meet air quality conformity requirements for Northern Ada County and will not degrade air quality.
